China has again firmly rejected foreign interference in Hong Kong affairs. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said: "I want to make it clear that the Chinese government's determination to uphold the One Country, Two Systems policy is unwavering. Its determination to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development is resolute. And the determination to oppose any interference by external forces in Hong Kong's affairs is firm."
