A total of six English proficiency exams in June will be canceled, including TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, LAST and FCE, China's Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday.
The ministry said the time is not yet ripe to hold the exams as examination locations overseas have remained closed due to COVID-19. The exam fees will be returned to students' accounts.
Many domestic exams slated in February and March have already been postponed, including Tests for English Majors (TEM).
