China's public security ministry firmly opposes U.S. sanctions on its institute

China's Ministry of Public Security on Wednesday expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to U.S. inclusion of its forensic science institute on the "Entity List" on May 22.

The U.S. side seriously infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of relevant Chinese institutions and enterprises, the ministry said in a statement, urging the U.S. to revoke the incorrect decision as soon as possible.
