Infrared cameras captured three lynxes enjoying sunshine in a nature reserve in Heilongjiang Province,northeast China.

Spring is the breeding season for the solitary animal. The newly-born cubs usually stay with their mother till the winter . 

The big cat can go hungry for days, and thus is not very often spotted venturing out of its den.

Huzhong National Nature Reserve is also home to many other animals, including brown bear, sable, and roe deer.
