China launches two new technology experiment satellites

China sent two satellites into planned orbit from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Saturday.

The satellites were launched at 4:13 a.m. BJT by a Long March-11 carrier rocket.

They will be mainly used as part of an experiment in new Earth-observation technology.

Saturday's launch was the 332nd mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
