Over 2,600 celebrities support national security legislation for HK

Over 2,600 Hong Kong celebrities and 110 arts and culture groups in the city voiced their support for the national security legislation for Hong Kong on May 29. In a star-studded statement, Jackie Chan, singer Alan Tam Wing-lun, Eric Tsang Chi-wai, Kara Wai Ying-hung and many others said they expect the law will not only close the national security loophole, but also guarantee their freedom of creation and development. Warren Mok Wah-yeun, the artistic director of the Opera Hong Kong, and renowned Violinist Yao Jue expressed their views.
