Protests continue in Washington D.C. over George Floyd's death

On May 31, protesters and police officers faced off outside the White House as demonstrations continued in Washington D.C. Water bottles were thrown at police, plastics and trees were burned during the clash. Mayor Muriel Bowser has declared a citywide curfew from 11:00 p.m. on May 31 until 6:00 a.m. on June 1.
