Paris gallery enforces physical distancing with winged hats

Updated 2020.06.05 22:39 GMT+8

An art gallery in Paris has been giving out special hats to visitors as a physical distancing measure. The hats are said to be inspired by headgear from ancient China's Song Dynasty (960-1279), where public officials wore hats with winged extensions to prevent them from whispering and gossiping. Now, such headgear is being used as protection from COVID-19.
