"Hainan is providing a very, very low tax rate compared to many regions around the world," said Professor John Gong from the University of International Business and Economics during a CGTN interview. Professor Gong said the Hainan Free Trade Port could become a very attractive place. He added that the region is designated to be an entirely free and open place in China.
