June 9 was designated International Archives Day in 2008.

To mark the 13th International Archives Day on June 9, 2020, a special program "Archives Memories" is on with seven archives administration representatives from Shaanxi, Beijing, Tianjin, Fujian, Hubei, Sichuan and Ningxia relaying the live to introduce the origin of the day, uncover history through the display of precious archives, and take the audience back in time to unforgettable eras.
