Hundreds of mourners packed a Houston church on Tuesday for the funeral of George Floyd, whose death has led to a global reckoning over police brutality and racial injustice. Following the service, Floyd's casket was taken by hearse toward the cemetery where he was to be entombed next to his mother. The African-American man cried out for his mother as he was handcuffed and pinned down as a white police officer knelt on his neck for up to more than eight minutes, a move widely believed to be linked with his later death the same day.
