In the U.S. city of Houston, George Floyd, the African American man whose death in police custody sparked worldwide protests, has been laid to rest. A horse-drawn carriage carried Floyd's casket to the cemetery, following a four-hour long memorial service. His death sparked worldwide protests, with people calling for racial justice and an end to police violence. Some 500 people attended Floyd's funeral. Around half were celebrities and public figures, including civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton, who delivered the eulogy.
