The 34th escort fleet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy returned to Sanya City, south China's Hainan Province, on Wednesday, after completing escort mission in the Gulf of Aden and waters off Somalia. The navy of PLA's Southern Theater Command held a welcome ceremony at a military port. The fleet also participated in a joint naval exercise codenamed "Sea Guardians-2020" with Pakistani naval forces in January.
