Beijing shuts wholesale market linked to 45 COVID-19 cases

Seven newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 appeared in Beijing since June 11, 2020. All of them were linked to the largest wholesale market for vegetables and meat in the capital. From the 517 samples collected in the market, 45 people tested positive for the virus in throat swabs. The local government closed the market. A total of 139 close contacts of confirmed cases are now in quarantine.
