Fenglingu Forest Park in Benxi City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, recently welcomed the peak blooming period of an exquisite flower called the Siebold's magnolia.

The Siebold's magnolia is an ancient flower that has survived since the Quaternary glaciation period, which began around 2.6 million years ago. It is native to East Asia and is under third-class state protection in China.

The plant produces white, showy flowers with sweet scents, hence attracting many visitors to the valley to take a look.
