During the spring breeding season, many baby birds are successfully hatched. They did not have much time, as in the coming October, they will join their parents and many others on the southward migration journey to their wintering grounds.

In a piece of wetland in Baotou City of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, chicks are already busy learning the skills needed not only for the long-distance journey, but also for their survival.
