More COVID-19 cases reported as Beijing tests thousands

Beijing's Xinfadi market, the capital's largest vegetable wholesale market, has been caught in the spotlight after it was linked to a new coronavirus cluster.

Beijing had reported zero local transmissions for 56 days before June 11, the day when the first case of the cluster was reported. 

So far, 79 infections have been reported in the city in the last four days. Relative cases were found in Liaoning and Hebei provinces.
