Japan has reported 74 new cases, with over half in the capital Tokyo. Tokyo saw 47 new infections on Sunday; just three days after the city lifted an alert over the pandemic to allow all businesses to reopen. This is the first time since early May that the daily count for Tokyo has risen above 40. Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike says if the cases spike again, the city will ask businesses and people to restrict their activities.
