A group of protesters tore down a Thomas Jefferson statue in front of a high school in Portland, U.S. on Sunday. Thomas Jefferson served as the third president of the United States. He was credited with writing "all men are created equal" into the U.S. Constitution despite owning more than 600 slaves throughout his life.
