Two people were left missing after a landslide hit Danba County in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The landslide struck at 3:20 am local time. Aerial photos show entire villages swept away by moving earth. A small local power station has been destroyed. More than 20,000 locals have been evacuated to safer ground. The landslide has created a barrier lake, threatening more than a dozen villages downstream, according to local officials. A search and rescue mission is still underway. The two missing have been identified as a worker at the power station and a local retired teacher.
