Track laying work along a 326.7-km high-speed railway line connecting Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province, and Yinchuan, the capital city of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was completed on Thursday, paving the way for static tests. Travel time between the two capital cities in northwest China will be reduced from 14 hours to merely three hours after the line is put into operations.
