The maritime rescue center of Sansha City in south China's Hainan Province received a call on Tuesday that a Chinese fisherman had fallen ill on an ocean fishing vessel at the South China Sea, 63 nautical miles south of the city of Sanya. The rescue team brought him back to shore by a helicopter. The patient was then flown back to Sanya City before he was quickly sent to a local hospital for treatment.
