Wuhan University holds graduation ceremony after six-month suspension

Wuhan University held a special graduation ceremony on June 20 in Wuhan City in central China's Hubei Province, the former epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in China. /VCG
A total of 660 graduates attended the ceremony and observed a moment of silence in memory of people who have died of the virus. /VCG
Those who couldn't attend were able to gather with their colleagues online by watching a 5G livestream of the ceremony. /VCG
According to the university, graduates who failed to attend the graduation ceremony this year could attend one in the next three years. /VCG
Wuhan University reopened to final-year bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree students earlier in June, after it was closed for six months due to the coronavirus outbreak in the city. /VCG
