Live: UK PM unveils plans to ease Britain's coronavirus lockdown

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson unveils his latest coronavirus lockdown easing plans to help some restaurants and pubs open their doors to the public.

The UK lockdown was announced by Boris Johnson on March 23. After the UK had passed the peak of its first coronavirus wave, the process of easing the lockdown started in May. As of now, there are 304,335 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United Kingdom, with 42,632 deaths, according to the World Health Organization.
