Victory Day is one of the most important dates in the Russia's national calendar. This 75th anniversary was supposed to be bigger than ever. However, many Russians marked this year's celebrations from home as the COVID-19 pandemic rages across the globe. Russia's Ministry of Defense says it's delivering gifts to veterans along with red carnations - the Russian symbol of wartime sacrifice. An air show is still going ahead, one several times bigger than planned, but Moscow's mayor asked people to stay inside and watch it on TV to limit the spread of the virus.
