More than 1,000 kits with hygiene products and masks were distributed to children in Paraisopolis, one of Sao Paulo's largest favelas, to help control the spread of COVID-19. The action is a partnership between the G10 Favelas, a group formed by the 10th largest favelas in Brazil, and the project "Sewing Dreams," created in 2017 to empower vulnerable women from Paraisopolis. As of June 24, the sewers produced more than 50,000 masks for adults.
