Eiffel Tower reopens in Paris after 104-day virus lockdown

Updated 2020.06.25 21:59 GMT+8

After 104 days, the longest closure of the Eiffel Tower since World War II, the Paris landmark has reopened. Visitors to the city's most famous monument will not be able to take the lifts until July 1, to ensure a safe distance between people to limit infection risk. The tower's management team hope to get operations fully back to normal later in the summer.
