The main pier of Jinyanghe Bridge, which is 196 meters high and located in Jinyang County, southwest China's Sichuan Province was successfully capped on Tuesday, setting a record for the world's tallest pier of a rigid-frame bridge. According to the construction company, the biggest challenge in building the bridge is the valley's strong winds and long rainy season.
