COVID-19 cases pass 500,000 in India 

India now has more than 500,000 confirmed coronavirus cases, according to government figures released on Saturday. 

A total of 508,953 cases have been reported in the country as of Saturday morning. 

The country's death toll climbed to 15,685 after another 385 fatalities were added in one day.
