Before Sunday, many were talking about if Wang Zhelin of the Fujian Sturgeons, also last season's CBA MVP, can challenge Yi Jianlian of the Guangdong Southern Tigers, who's one of the best players in CBA history.
The game on Sunday was not the final answer but could at least give some hint. Not only Guangdong beat Fujian 143-126, Yi Jianlian also outperformed Wang Zhelin by putting down 32 points in 16 minutes, including getting 25 in the first quarter. By contrast, Wang Zhelin got only 18 points in 24 minutes. In fact, both him and Fujian realized the game was long gone when Guangdong led 80-56 in the first half.
In the end, let's congratulate Yi Jianlian for becoming the career rebound leader in CBA history. Having reached No. 1 in both career scoring and rebounding, is Yi Jianlian the best player in CBA history?

Winning seems so hard for Bayi Rockets
What did the Bayi Rockets need to do to win a game? The team came so close to finding the answer but they failed to reach it as they lost to the Nanjing Monkey Kings 97-95.
This was definitely not the game coach Cui Wanjun wanted to see for Nanjing. Only two of his players reached double-digit points – Joseph Yung put down 49 points, four rebounds, five assists and Hamed Ehadadi got 12 points, 18 rebounds, three assists. The whole team only delivered 12 assists and trailed by six (95-89) when there was only one minute left.

Jeremy Lin, Udoh lead Beijing Ducks to win
In a low-scoring game in Qingdao on Sunday, the Beijing Ducks beat the Shanghai Sharks 86-76, thanks to the remarkable performance of their American pair, Jeremy Lin and Ekpe Udoh.
The poor performance of Lin and Udoh in the Ducks' last game and the fact that they lost it drew tremendous criticism to both of them, despite that neither of the two played more than 20 minutes on the court. In Sunday's game, Lin and Udoh were given longer time and bigger roles, and they responded the team's trust with great work.

Shanghai could not find the basket at all in the game, especially their starting lineup, three of which got only two points each. Shanghai's 10 assists, 39.47-percent field goal rate and 15-percent 3-point rate all reminded them how much they needed to work on their offense.
