Flames ripped through a 64-million-dollar Thai mansion on the first day it reopened after the coronavirus lockdown. The Baan Sukhawadee building has priceless oriental antiques and relics. The mansion was built by Thai billionaire Dr. Panya Choititawanand. It is used for Buddhist religious ceremonies, tourism and hosting events. The inferno engulfed the top of the building with thick clouds of black smoke which were visible for miles around. More than 10 fire trucks rushed to the inferno. The Baan Sukhawadee mansion and its content are reportedly insured for more than 64.6 million U.S. dollars.
