CBA highlights on July 2: Sun Minghui beats Guo Ailun in point guard contest

The Zhejiang Lions walked over the Liaoning Flying Leopards 125-110, while Sun Minghui totally outperformed Guo Ailun in this "Who is the best point guard in China?" contest on Thursday night. Sun Ming dropped 34 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists three steals for Zhejiang. By contrast, Guo Ailun only got 22 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

The Zhejiang Golden Bulls achieved a 12-point comeback victory over the Nanjing Monkey Kings 114-97 in Qingdao on Thursday. 21-year-old Cheng Shuaipeng dropped a career-high 43 points plus five rebounds, four assists, and five steals in the game.

The Shanxi Loongs beat the Tianjin Pioneers 97-79 on Thursday. Since season restart, Shanxi only allowed 94 points by their opponents per game. Such solid defense almost suffocated Tianjin's offense in the game and limited their field goal rate to 33. 8 percent.

The Qingdao Eagles lost to the Shanghai Sharks 126-83 in their fifth loss in a row at home. They allowed 29 assists, 15 3-pointers at a 62.5-percent rate, a 62.34-percent field goal rate, 14 steals and 29 assists by Shanghai. By contrast, the whole team of Qingdao only delivered nine assists.
