The U.S. Senate has sent a bill for President Trump to sign, calling for Chinese officials implementing the new national security law to be sanctioned. The bill also calls for banks doing business with the officials to be penalized. The legislation was approved unanimously by the Senate on Thursday, a day after being passed in the House. China urges the U.S. to stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs.
