Recovered COVID-19 patient in Myanmar tests positive again

A recovered patient in Myanmar's Shan State has tested positive for COVID-19 again, local health authorities confirmed.

The man was confirmed to be infected with the virus on April 18 and was discharged from hospital about one month later.

However, new test results on June 30 showed he was infected with the virus again, according to authorities, who are investigating the patient's close contacts.
