A 5.5 magnitude earthquake jolted Tajikistan on Saturday afternoon, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, at a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 39.04 degrees north latitude and 70.96 degrees east longitude.
There are no immediate reports of damage.
