Nurses, doctors save 26 newborns during SW China earthquake

A M4.5 tremor hit southwest China's Hezhang County at 11:11 a.m. Thursday. Medical staff from the local hospital's neonatology department immediately ran to save the babies. One by one they evacuated a total of 26 babies in three minutes. Medical staff also set up a temporary newborn ward for the newborns on the open field in front of the hospital. No injuries were reported and the hospital resumed normal operations four hours later.
