Xi: China-Mongolia cooperation on COVID-19 shows deep friendship

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday exchanged verbal messages with Mongolian Prime Minister and leader of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, saying the cooperation between China and Mongolia on fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic shows deep friendship between the two countries.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said China is willing to strengthen cooperation and communication with other countries, including Mongolia, to combat the epidemic and jointly build a community of common health for mankind.

The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the MPP at all levels and lead China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership to achieve greater development and make contributions to regional peace and prosperity. 

In his verbal message sent to Xi, Khurelsukh said China's efforts to fight against the virus has not only effectively protected the health and safety of Chinese people, but also made contributions to protecting the health of the people of the world.
