On November 2, 2019, on the streets of Cologne in Germany, a young girl who debated with Hong Kong demonstrators in three languages was Ban Yalun. For Ban Yalun and international students like her, patriotism is not a slogan. As descendants of Chinese people, they defend the dignity of China with their own actions.
