To fans' delight, Katy Perry shared the cover of her new album, "Smile,"  which will drop on August 14.

The Roar singer sent the image of herself looking down and fed up, while wearing a red nose, via her online newsletter, and urged fans to pre-order the album.

The debut date for the album, her fifth, coincides with the approximate due date of Perry's first child.

"This whole album is my journey towards the light, with stories of resilience, hope, and love," she said.
