Flash floods and landslides leave over 40 people dead in Nepal

Heavy rains in western Nepal have triggered flash floods and landslides, leaving at least 40 people dead and thousands displaced. The district of Myagdi, northwest of the capital Kathmandu is reported to be the worst hit. Around 50 people have been rescued by helicopter, and a search operation is underway for people still missing.
