The 400-year-old Yuyuan Park in downtown Shanghai has been seeing a much younger crowd.
Starting in July, Yuyuan Park upgraded its night fair events by inviting the street artists, influencers, and trending brands, creating an immersive area for the younger generation.

Many of the brands feature a native fashion trend called "China chic," which blends modern and traditional Chinese elements.
Named "Fun Food Arena," the park has seen young people dressed in Chinese traditional clothes, such as the "hanfu," and wearing traditional Chinese makeup.

Besides, a number of traditional Chinese cultural heritage projects and traditional products, such as the lanterns and oil-paper umbrellas were all seen hanging as decoration.
Of course, there are modern elements as well. Outdoor bars, live performances of jazz, street dance and bands, as well as trending food brands have turned the area into a perfect after-work attraction for young commuters.
