Beijing recorded no new domestically transmitted COVID-19 case on Sunday for the seventh day in a row. The total number of cases stands at 335 since a cluster outbreak was discovered at the Xinfadi market on June 11, the municipal health commission said on Monday.

As of Monday afternoon, a total of 130 patients, including one who is seriously ill, have recovered and were discharged from the hospital, a municipal official told media at a press briefing on Monday.

The recovered are aged between 19 months and 66 years and the longest hospitalization time was 30 days. The shortest stay was 11 days, the official said.

Beijing has also seen no new asymptomatic cases in the past 24 hours, and as of Sunday, 18 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

Local authorities on Monday also announced that Huaxiang Township in Beijing's Fengtai District, the only high-risk area in the Chinese capital and where the Xinfadi market is located, was downgraded to medium-risk after the region reported less than 10 domestic infections each day for 14 consecutive days.

As of Monday afternoon, there are only seven medium-risk areas across Beijing's Fengtai and Daxing districts.
