China's first self-developed maritime wireless intelligent monitoring system was put into use in Bohai Bay on July 11. China Beihai Navigation Support Center and Dalian Maritime University developed the ‎Automatic Identification System (AIS) to intelligently identify and accurately locate ships with abnormal dynamics and static information, such as name, speed and call signs, as well as base stations that broadcast malicious information.
