A rare water lily attracted many visitors to Panyu Lotus Hill Resort in south China's Guangzhou City on Thursday. The species is called Nymphaea "Seven pedicles" and it is characterized by six corollas forming a circle around a corolla in the middle.

According to experts, this water lily cannot be cultivated artificially and its flowering period lasts only two to three days, blooming only in the morning. The resort plans to make this flower into a specimen so many others can have the chance to enjoy the flower.
