An adorable red panda was caught on camera climbing a tree and feasting on cherries at Wawushan Nature Reserve in Meishan City of southwest China's Sichuan Province on Monday.

According to the staff, the red panda was spotted looking for cherries on a tree. Red pandas love wild cherries which mature in the beginning of July.

The red panda spent almost an hour enjoying the feast before heading back to the forest.

Red panda is under second-class state protection in China. Its population is threatened by loss of habitat and low birth rate in the wild.
