More than 20 years after Huawei started working in the UK, it's been told it's no longer welcome. 

UK is banning Huawei from its 5G network, and the order means a complete purge of Huawei's technology from Britain's 5G network in seven years, a U-turn in its policy from January. Huawei said its future in the UK has become politicized, while a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said China would take measures to protect its companies. So what will China and Huawei do next?  

Some analysts say the ban will pull the country back in terms of 5G, and that in turn will affect its economy. If that is the case, why did the UK government make such a decision? Qu Qiang, Assistant Director and research fellow of International Monetary Institute at Renmin University, explains the reasons.
