There will be 22 teams participating as the NBA restarts its season at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando at the end of July. Some teams are after the championship, some are aiming for a breakthrough, and some want to compete for one last time for the playoffs, but the following teams may end their trips with nothing.

Washington Wizards

As the only none-top-8 team of the Eastern Conference going to attend the season restart in Orlando, the Wizards are relatively hopeful to narrow their games behind the No. 8 Orlando Magic to within four – the way for the team to compete for playoff qualification. However, that was only before their All-Star guard Bradley Beal decided to drop out of restart. Without the franchise player who averaged 36.5 points per game, the Wizards, on the bright side, have nothing to lose in their eight games to come.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs are in a relatively better condition than the Wizards as they still have DeMar DeRozan who reached career-high in effective field rate (53 percent) while putting down 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. However, the team's biggest franchise flaw, lack of sharp offensive solution, is still there. Moreover, the Spurs have lost their most reliable weapon of attack, LaMarcus Aldridge. Their squad is basically the worse among all the Western Conference teams in Orlando.

Brooklyn Nets

Unlike the Wizards or the Spurs, the Nets have already secured playoff qualification, but they did it before they got the injuries and the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Injuries first ruled Kevin Durant out for this season and then forced Kyrie Irving to quit as well. After that, DeAndre Jordan, Spencer Dinwiddie and Taurean Prince all tested positive for the coronavirus. Meanwhile, Wilson Chandler announced he won't go to Orlando. Whoever the Nets send to the court, they can never make a playoff team.
