6.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Papua New Guinea

A 6.9-magnitude earthquake was felt 119 kilometers north of Kokoda, Papua New Guinea at 02:50 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 85.5 kilometers, triggering a tsunami warning.

So far, there are no reports of casualties.
