China's economy has started to grow, as the country recovers from the coronavirus epidemic. Data shows it grew 3.2 percent in the second quarter this year, following a steep 7 percent slump in the first. Even though the economy shrank 1.6 percent in the first half of the year, major indicators suggest it's now in recovery. The latest figure is better than some analysts had predicted but challenges remain ahead. Rajiv Biswas, executive director and Asia-Pacific chief economist at IHS Markit, told CGTN that China's recovery is very important and positive for the rest of Asia.
