Birds of prey rescued in NW China

Two birds of prey, a kestrel and a common buzzard, were rescued in Golmud City, northwest China's Qinghai Province.

The birds are both under second-class state protection. They feed on rats and thus play an important role in controlling the pest on the prairie.
